This is an album of Orchestral music that I originally composed for the Feature Documentary ‘Oceania’. We decided to take the music in another direction once we heard it with the film but I am happy with how the pieces turned out so have released them as an album. Recorded by European Recording Orchestra at BNR in Sofia, Bulgaria 20th August 2023. The opening track, ‘Nareau’, Features singing by Tekinati Ruka and other women of Kiribati while on a canoe ride heading South from Tabiteuea Village, on Tarawa, Kiribati.
